To make consistent sales you need to sell consistently
You (hopefully) know this, but are you actually doing it?
If you have ever wondered why other people can make a post or send an email and make sales, but you get nothing?
It's because it's a lot less about the individual post or email, and a lot more about the way each small action you take for your business adds up over time. When you keep stopping and starting, momentum isn't able to build. Small consistent actions over time are what will add up to allow you to make one post or send one email and make sales!
Once you break through the fear and overthinking and starting selling every week
I get it! You really mean to get better at selling, but putting your business out there is hard and scary. And you're so busy that it just keeps slipping through the cracks.
You want to reach the people who need you but you are so afraid of being annoying that you are just stuck.
You aren't putting your business out there as much as you want to be, and when you are, you are pretty much winging it and it's getting you nowhere.
This is how you stop winging it and start selling weekly without overthinking!

Do a demo or behind the scenes look
**Works great as a video, but can be written
There’s a good chance you have done this one before, but remember people need to see things more than once in order to be ready! If it’s been more than a month, you can definitely do the same thing again, most people will not remember! If you have done it pretty recently, just change up the format! So if you did a reel last time, go live this time, or post in your stories or send an email instead!
Ok, so let’s talk about how to do a good demo! If you sell something physical/visual, I would record video of you doing it! If that doesn’t work for your business (if you sell a service, membership, etc) you have a few options. You can record “behind the scenes,” meaning login to your membership and take video scrolling through all the content, take a short clip during a call with your client (it can just be you waving or having fun, doesn’t need to be a video of your actual session), show some work in progress, etc. If that still doesn’t work, you can just describe how it works so they know what to expect!
Our goal is to take away all the mystery, so they can see themselves using/doing it! There are a lot of people out there who would be interested but the uncertainty of how it works, if they would actually like it or even follow through, etc is holding them back. And you might have this on your website, but the tricky part is getting them to your website.
Think about the first time you go somewhere new. You can find yourself worrying about what parking will be like, if you’ll find the place ok, what will it be like, how should you dress, what should you bring, etc.
By showing (or telling) exactly what they can expect, they get a better idea of if it will be for them, it takes the anxiety away, and they become much more likely to be ready to get started!
Demo Tips
Prioritize keeping people’s attention over showing every step in full
If you do plan to record a longer video where you do the demo in real time, make sure you narrate each step or have something planned to talk about so it doesn’t become boring
If you have a lot of steps and are worried it might be boring, try making a reel where you edit together short clips of each step
If you don’t really have steps, you can just show/explain what you’re doing and why, or you can also do a b-roll reel (meaning you would record yourself doing it, without looking at the camera. You can shoot it from a distance or you could also do a closeup on your hands if you do something crafty!) and add text that explains what they’re seeing
Example:
You teach journaling and you record b-roll footage of yourself writing in your journal and add text that touches on a common objection for your ideal client
I knew journaling would be good for me, but I struggled to make time for it until I added it to my morning routine.
It’s not much of a routine, I just sit down with my journal when I drink my coffee.
In the beginning I didn’t know what to write, so I used prompts to give me a starting point each day.
Now I usually just free write, but I still use prompts regularly when the thoughts aren’t flowing.
Have you ever tried journaling prompts? Did you know I have a free set of 10 prompts to get you started on my website?
Let me know if you have any questions! But remember the point isn't to get it “right,” it's to let this inspire you and interpret how it works best for YOUR business!

It will work for many different types of businesses as long as you want a personal brand, meaning you are the face of your business and want to form personal connection with your audience and share about yourself and your life.
I do NOT mean you need to be an "influencer" or share your whole life, just that you want people to feel like they know YOU the business owner not just "the generic facebook page for the gym"
If you aren't sure if this is for you, please email me at megan@meganbrewster.com and I am happy to give you my honest opinion on if it would be a good fit for your business!
Think tasks like share your favorite thing you sell and what makes it your favorite, run a flash sale or offer some kind of bonus, reach out to some of your best customers and thank them, etc.
They will be applicable for a wide variety of businesses and you will be able to easily customize them to the way you run your business!
You can join the optional Facebook group where you will be able to chat with the other members and get inspiration from how they are interpreting each task!
Or you can simply skip that task and repeat one you liked from a past week instead!
*Please note I will be in the Facebook group and trying my best to answer when I can, but you are not guaranteed a response from me if you post in there!
